Live like Royalty at Disneyland Hotel in Paris

January 24, 2011
Ok, I’ll fess up. Like my kids, I have at times longingly gazed at the castles in Disney parks wishing I could live inside, if just for a night. I’ve wondered what it would be like not to have to leave the park in the evening, but to stay immersed in the magic when the gates closed for the day. Well, I finally got my chance. I stayed at the Disneyland Hotel in Paris!

This luxurious hotel sits right at the entrance of the Disneyland Paris. Daily park guests actually must go under the hotel in order to get to the turnstiles to enter Disneyland Park. The hotel is as ornate as a wedding cake and its pink color glistens all year long, in sunny blue skies, as well as grey snowy days.

The four star hotel features an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, gym, sauna and steam room and the Celestial Spa with massage and beauty treatments. Kids enjoy a small arcade as well as the Minnie Club activity center with childcare. The Disney decor is subtle, with little touches throughout the hotel all in keeping with its beautiful Victorian theme. Some of best dining at Disneyland Paris Resort can be found in the Disneyland Hotel: Inventions with a dinner buffet and kid-popular character breakfasts and California Grill, the hotel’s fine dining option. There are 496 rooms at the hotel and the top two floors house the exclusive Castle Club which features suites and rooms with views over Disneyland Park.

Disneyland Hotel is for those looking to splurge for the ultimate experience at Disneyland Resort Paris. There are deals that are offered throughout the year, like kids stay free or an extra free night, which travel agents can help you to find. Staying at Disneyland Hotel is a real treat for a magical stay at Disneyland Resort Paris!
